A police sniffer dog dies of a rare nose cancer after years of sniffing cocaine on the job.

Max, a springer spaniel, is said to have caught the disease from the effects of cocaine and other drugs he was trained to detect.

The dog’s owner, Police Inspector Anne Higgins, fears all the training may be the reason they had to put the dog down. ”It is ironic the wonderful organ that made him successful in his work has been his demise,” Higgins said.

 

“It was very hard to have him put down but we had to do it,” she continued.

Citigroup abandons $50 million after Obama says, ‘fix it.’

Obama put his foot down when it came to Citigroup’s high-flying execs trying to  use taxpayer money to but $50 million  jet.

On Monday an Obama official called Citigroup and complained about the company’s new plan to buy the 12-seater aircraft, which by the way has leather interior, sofas, and an entertainment center.

The official told them to” fix it.”
